Skydiving in Torquay

Freefall over the Great Ocean Road — 15,000 feet above the Surf Coast

The Ultimate Surf Coast Thrill

Skydiving over the Great Ocean Road is consistently rated as one of the most scenic jumps in Australia. You'll exit the plane at up to 15,000 feet, freefall for up to 60 seconds, then float under canopy with panoramic views stretching from Melbourne's skyline to the Otway Ranges.

Below you, the coastline curves past Bells Beach, Jan Juc, and the beginning of the Great Ocean Road. It's a perspective of the Surf Coast you can't get any other way.

What to Expect

Tandem Jump

No experience needed. You're harnessed to an experienced instructor who handles everything. All you need to do is enjoy the view — and jump when they say go.

The Freefall

Up to 60 seconds of freefall at 200+ km/h. The rush is intense but over quickly — then the parachute opens and everything goes quiet. The canopy ride lasts 5–7 minutes.

The Landing

Touch down on the beach or a nearby landing zone. The whole experience from briefing to landing takes about 2–3 hours, with the jump itself lasting around 8 minutes.
