The restaurant
Ms BKK Torquay Thai Kitchen is at 44 Bell Street, on Torquay's main eat street, about five minutes' drive from north Torquay and a short walk up from the beach. It calls itself the newest dining spot in town, and it's a sit-down restaurant as well as a takeaway, with dine-in, pickup and delivery.
The menu is long and numbered, running to more than 70 dishes plus a list of rice dishes to take away. It's one of the few Thai places in town where you can book a table online, which makes it the easy choice for a group.
What's on the menu
Prices are from Ms BKK's online ordering menu in October 2026. The chilli symbols are worth heeding: two chillies means it.
Curries, stir-fries and noodles
Most of the menu is $18.90: massaman, panang, yellow, green and red curries; stir-fries with cashews, satay, Thai basil, ginger, oyster sauce or sweet soy; and the noodles, from pad thai and pad see ew to the pad kee mao (drunken noodles with basil, chilli and wild ginger). The fried rice list includes a tom yum fried rice and a pineapple fried rice with cashews.
Crispy pork belly and the grill
Five crispy pork belly dishes at $21.90, including salt and pepper, kana moo krob with Chinese broccoli, and kra pow with basil. The grill does gai yang (Thai barbecue chicken) and moo yang (barbecue pork) at $21.90, and the house signature is Miss BKK's crispy seasoned chicken ($19.90).
Soups, salads and seafood
Tom yum and tom kha are $17.90, and the tom zaap is a hot and sour soup of slow-cooked beef ($21.90). The salads ($18.90 to $23.90) include a Thai beef salad, larb moo and a seafood salad, all marked gluten free. There's a section of fish fillets, battered or in curry ($23.90), and seafood stir-fries at $25.90.
Entrees
Fried chive cakes and chicken satay ($9.90), net crab spring rolls, sesame prawn toast ($11.90), battered calamari ($12.90), and a mixed entree to share ($16.90). Roti with satay sauce is $5.90.
Drinks
House lychee soda and strawberry lemonade ($7.50), fresh coconut water ($6) and the usual soft drinks.
Rice dishes to take away
A list of single-serve dishes on rice, from $17.90 for tofu and vegetables to $19.90 for crispy pork belly or barbecue chicken. Good for a quick dinner for one.
Kids, vegetarians and gluten free
For kids, the mild end of the menu is safe ground: chicken satay with roti, fried rice, pad see ew and a massaman or yellow curry. The booking form asks for children and infants separately, so you can let them know you're bringing little ones.
The vegetarian options include crispy tofu, vegetable spring rolls and curry puffs to start, a mixed vegetable stir-fry with tofu in a vegan sauce, and tofu with Chinese broccoli. The salads and the khua kai noodles are marked gluten free. Ask about fish sauce and soy if it's strict.

Its website lists dinner from 5pm every night, until 8.30pm Sunday to Thursday and 9pm on Friday and Saturday, plus lunch from 12pm to 3pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
